What's at stake in Georgia's runoff

Democracy itself is at stake with the Georgia runoffs. I wouldn't have said this earlier this week. Then again, earlier this week, Joe Biden hadn't said "The idea we still allow semi-automatic weapons to be purchased is sick. Just sick. It has no socially redeeming value. Zero. None. Not a single solitary rationale for it except profit for the gun manufacturers."

That's a breathtakingly arrogant statement of gigantic proportions. According to the article, "Missouri’s 4th congressional district U.S. Representative-elect Mark Alford called Biden’s stance on gun laws 'sheer ignorance,' and cited an article noting that semi-automatic weapons make up 50% of all gun sales in America." I'd characterize his statements as sheer arrogance. He thinks that the Constitution isn't still intact and that the Supreme Court's rulings don't have meaning.

Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie's tweet expresses things perfectly:

That's exactly right. Joe Biden is maligning gun owners, not just gun manufacturers. He isn't just criticizing gun manufacters' profits. He's identifying himself -- again -- as a socialist. Any Democrat that votes for this bill, which Sen. Warnock would do in a heartbeat, would vote against the Second Amendment. A vote against the Second Amendment is a vote against the right to protect one's family.

To Georgians who thought this runoff between Herschel Walker and Democrat gun-grabber Raphel Warnock wasn't a big deal, think again. Democrats want to take half of America's guns away and ban your right to protect your families. Finally, this is as much a minority 'issue' or a women's issue as it is a white male issue. Single moms and minorities are in danger far more often than suburban and rural men. Watch Joe make a Biden out of himself:
