My letter to Kevin McCarthy

Speaker-Elect McCarthy, it's important, essential even, to make a great first impression with the American people. When the people spoke with their votes, they sent the message that they're hurting because Joe Biden ruined a growing economy with virtually no inflation. Today, we're saddled with a stumbling economy and high inflation.

While it's important that you investigate the Biden crime cartel and the politicization of the DOJ and FBI, it's most important to fix Biden's (and the Democrats') economic mess. The best way to do that, after you vote to defund the 87,000 IRS auditors, is to push Democrats into fixing Biden's (and the Democrats') energy policy. That should be H.R.2. After that, you should highlight fixing Biden's (and the Democrats') broken supply chain. That should be H.R.3.

I'd give both bills names that told the nation what you're attempting to fix. I'd title H.R.2 the "Let's make energy cheap again Act. Focus the bill on NEPA permitting reform and fixing U.S. fossil fuel energy infrastructure.

Democrats will complain that you should start with something that has bipartisan support. I'd remind them that permitting reform was initially pushed by Joe Manchin in exchange for his vote for the Inflation Reduction Act and signed off on by Sen. Schumer and Joe Biden. That's bipartisan and bicameral support of this bill.

After that, push H.R.3, which I'd title "Making baby formula plentiful again Act." At that press conference, I'd highlight the disfunction of this nation's supply chains. Then I'd highlight the U.S. reliance on China for things like Amoxycillin and other anti-biotics. H.R.3 should include provisions like tax breaks for companies who move their medical supplies companies back to the U.S.

Democrats, Biden included but especially Sen. Warren and Sen. Sanders, will complain about giving tax breaks to billionaires. Combat that by highlighting how Democrats don't have any problem 'investing' in unions and Green New Deal companies. Why should they complain about in U.S. families? Let's see how they respond to that question.

Democrats are sure to complain about these pro-growth, pro-family bills. Be prepared for that by having trade organizations ready to advertise in energy-rich districts represented by Democrats. Pressure them for a change.

Finally, let's push H.R.4, aka the Parents' Bill of Rights Act. There's no need for a fancy name with this bill. At the press conference for H.R.4, have Asra Nomani and Ian Prior onstage. Have Moms for Liberty onstage, too. Highlight the work that these organizations are doing. Highlight this inspirational video, too:

I'd recommend a full-scale media assault that's impossible to ignore. Do that with each of these bills. Put tons of media pressure on Democrats, the people who created these messes. Most importantly, do it to make life better for families again.
