John Kirby's wimpish interview

When it comes to being wimps on the international stage, the Biden administration's only competition is with the Obama administration. John Kirby has played a prominent role in both administrations' wimpy foreign policy. Adm. Kirby got more than a little testy when pushed on why the Biden administration hadn't spoken more forcefully about the Chinese people's uprising against the Chinese Communist Party.

Adm. Kirby replied, saying "People should be allowed the right to assemble and to peacefully protest policies or laws or dictates that they take issue with." Later, Adm. Kirby said the administration wasn't taking a stand for or against the Chinese government.

According to the article, "President Joe Biden met with Xi on the sidelines of the Group of 20 summit earlier this month, where they discussed 'COVID and the effect the pandemic had had around the world,' Kirby said. But he said he didn’t know if China’s 'COVID Zero' policies had come up."

That's as milquetoast a conversation as an American president has ever had with a communist leader. That isn't a response. That's more like the American president curling up into a fetal position and begging the communist leader not to hurt him.

That's what a leader looks like. This is what a wimp looks like:
Being a leader doesn't mean automatically going to war. In President Reagan's case, it meant delivering a message to a communist leader that the foreign leader definitely didn't want to hear. A short 2 years later, the impossible happened when the Berlin Wall fell and the Soviet Union collapsed.

Imagine if Biden delivered that message to Xi Jinping. Unfortunately, that's all we can do. That's something that Joe Biden is too wimpy to do.

What is Kamala Harris afraid of?

Apparently, Kamala Harris suddenly loves debating. Let me rephrase that. Harris loves debating as long as the moderators are partisan hacks. She wants nothing to do with a debate moderated by Fox's Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum. She's afraid of Bret and Martha because a) they'll either fact-check both her and Trump or they won't fact-check either of them and b) Bret and Martha aren't afraid of asking follow-up questions. To a candidate whose answers are scripted and who isn't quick on her feet, the last thing you want is a follow-up question. Why is Joe Biden letting Hamas off the hook?

It isn't disputable whether Joe Biden's administration is letting Hamas off the hook. That issue was settled months ago, when a spineless Joe Biden caved to activists interested in saving Hamas and thwarting the Israelis' attempt to defend themselves.
