Joe Biden's jobs 'performance'
Inflation is intentionally omitted because inflation prevents the paychecks from paying for required goods and services. Having a job is just a means to an end. When inflation cuts into a family's ability to pay for that family's heating bill, groceries, gas, rent/mortgage and retirement or paying for the kids' college, parents worry more about how they'll pay for a middle-class lifestyle.
When Biden highlights the fact that a bill cuts the price of insulin, he omits the fact that this won't go into effect until 2026. Biden omits, too, that inflation is still 8.2% this month. It's like telling a drowning man that the rescue boat with the lifejacket is still at the landing.
This statement shows how delusional Biden is:
At that point, Biden spoke of "steady growth" during a quarter when the economy was shrinking for the second straight quarter. That isn't steady growth. That's consistent decline combined with high inflation. That's called stagflation. What's required is economic growth, not stagflation. We don't need the Green New Deal. We need cheap, reliable fossil fuels to bring down inflation. Most importantly, what's required is for the Fed to stop printing money and for Congress to stop spending like a drunken sailor.
Right now, the Fed is raising interest rates while Biden's Democrats spent trillions of dollars we don't have on things we don't need. That's the definition of stupidity. Biden's Democrats, for the most part, haven't put America first. They've put the Democrat Party's ideology first.
Republicans are partisans, too. The difference is that Republicans have fought against inflation, crime, open borders and corruption within the DOJ and FBI. Each of those items are high priorities for the American people.
The Green New Deal and hiring 87,000 IRS agents aren't high priorities with the American people. The Democrats' $3,000,000,000,000+ in spending is what's caused this inflation. Further, it bought us a ton of things we don't need. We need fiscal discipline, not drunken sailor spending. Smart policies will get us out of this inflationary mess.
