Newt Gingrich's plan to expose J6 show trial as fraud

Anyone with 2 brain cells rubbing together knows that the J6 'Committee' is mostly show. Yes, there are things that we've learned that aren't flattering to former President Trump. What's indisputable, though, is that the Committee is editing some of the testimony.

Newt Gingrich has a method for smoking out the frauds on the Committee, which he writes about in this Washington Times op-ed. In the op-ed, Gingrich writes "As Susan Ferrechio of The Washington Times reported: '[The committee] has interviewed more than 1,000 witnesses and obtained more than 25,000 documents related to last year’s riot at the U.S. Capitol — yet most of the evidence remains a secret. The committee has kept hidden the vast majority of its testimony, including entire transcripts of depositions that are now under dispute by more than a dozen people. Among the most prominent objectors are two Secret Service agents who are refuting a sensational claim made at a public hearing Tuesday by a former White House aide turned star witness for the committee.'"

These materials belong to U.S. citizens. If those deposition transcripts and videos aren't made public immediately, Republicans should turn up the heat on these propagandists. Gingrich wrote this to do just that:

House Republicans should move a privileged resolution to release all the documents and interviews. Make the committee members explain why they want to keep the country from knowing all the facts. Let’s end the show trial and get back to a committee hearing with cross-examinations, open information, and real accountability for the committee and its staff.
Democrats and hate-filled fake Republicans on the Committee can't afford to have that information examined and cross-examined. There have already been allegations of the Committee editing a pair of Jim Jordan's statements. Check this out:
The Federalist reported this:
In his statement, Schiff erased the final two paragraphs and the final clause of the first paragraph of the text message before inserting punctuation that was never there, all without disclosing what he was doing. The graphic displayed by Schiff, which was doctored to look like an exact screenshot, was similarly doctored, as it contained content that was never in the original message and eliminated content that was.
Adam Schiff isn't honest? Say it isn't so. Seriously, this is typical of Schiff. He's as dishonest as Liz Cheney is hateful. The good news is that Cheney is on her way of losing her Wyoming GOP primary and Schiff will be taken off his assignment to the House Intel Committee when Kevin McCarthy becomes Speaker next January.

It's time for Republicans to stop sending letters to Pelosi, Schiff, etc. It's time to start initiating action through the tools available to them. Simply put, it's time to grow a spine. It's time for real leadership.
