Is Joe Manchin the only sane Democrat?

Larry Kudlow will be happy to hear that Joe Manchin has rejected the Biden-Schumer-Democrat mini-spendapalooza bill. Still, a major point must be made about the Democrats' spending proclivities and economic literacy. Apparently, Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema are the only semi-sane Democrats left in DC.

First, Sen. Manchin "and his staff told Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D, N.Y., unequivocally Thursday that he is only willing to support a reconciliation bill in August that includes a provision to lower prescription drug prices and a two-year extension of subsidies for the Affordable Care Act." This is a major blow to Democrats. They've wanted to spend the U.S. into the grave since they gained full control of the federal government. Sen. Manchin just shut that down for the final time before Republicans take back control of the Legislative Branch.

Let's recall that all 221 House Democrats voted for the $1,900,000,000,000 ($1.9T) American Rescue Plan. All 50 Democrats in the Senate voted for that inflation-starting monstrosity, too. The myth that there are some moderate Democrats is difficult to prove. Thanks to these Democrats' spending habits, we have rampant inflation. Thanks to these Democrats, a once-humming economy has been turned into an economy teetering on the brink of a recession.

This isn't because of Putin's invasion of Ukraine. This didn't happen because of climate change. It's because Joe Biden and his Democrats chose to wage war on the energy industry.

Thank God for a little sanity. It's time for new financial leadership. Joe Biden and these Democrats are economic illiterates.

Apparently, Kamala Harris suddenly loves debating. Let me rephrase that. Harris loves debating as long as the moderators are partisan hacks. She wants nothing to do with a debate moderated by Fox's Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum. She's afraid of Bret and Martha because a) they'll either fact-check both her and Trump or they won't fact-check either of them and b) Bret and Martha aren't afraid of asking follow-up questions. To a candidate whose answers are scripted and who isn't quick on her feet, the last thing you want is a follow-up question. It isn't disputable whether Joe Biden's administration is letting Hamas off the hook. That issue was settled months ago, when a spineless Joe Biden caved to activists interested in saving Hamas and thwarting the Israelis' attempt to defend themselves.
