Scott Jensen vs. Ken Martin, Javier Morillo COVID extremism edition

Ken Martin has a script and he's sticking to it. It doesn't have anything to do with the truth but it's got a lot in common with digging the DFL out of a hole. In his interview with Almanac's Mary Lahammer, Martin's dishonesty shined through.

In the interview, Martin said about Dr. Jensen "...some of his positions, particularly around COVID, some of the conspiracy theories that he's glommed onto just aren't supported by people even in his medical profession." Let's put that up against what Dr. Jensen said in his interview with Lahammer.

In that interview, Dr. Jensen said that he hasn't gotten the vaccine because he got infected with COVID before the vaccines were approved. Dr. Jensen then said that he has more antibodies than his patients who got their antibodies from a vaccine. Finally, Dr. Jensen said that he gets his antibodies checked every other month.

If this race comes down to a fight on COVID credibility, crime and taxes, which I think is likely, that isn't the issue set that benefits the DFL. That's why Martin is playing the extremist card this early. Watch this interview, then explain where Martin's claims of extremism come from:

Then watch Ms. Lahammer's interview of Martin:

Finally, watch this Almanac Roundtable, featuring Javier Morillo as DFL puppet:

This is like Terry McAuliffe repeatedly invoking Trump's name in the hopes that people would connect Trump with Youngkin. Martin and Morillo can scream extremist all they want. Dr. Jensen just isn't an extremist. On COVID, Dr. Jensen sounds like he's where a supermajority of Minnesotans are at. Further, it's clear that Tim Walz tried hanging onto his Peacetime Emergency Powers far too long. Dr. Jensen wants to change that so the legislature has more input into decisions. Walz didn't want that. He wanted to be an emporor. That isn't what Minnesotans want.

Minnesotans want 2 things. Minnesotans want the governor and legislators to work together. Finally, they want the politicians to get things right the first time the vast majority of times. That means they aren't satisfied with politicians working together. They want them to work together and to fix things.
