Joe Biden's Jim Crow 2.0 claims are shattered

When Georgia passed its election reforms shortly after Joe Biden took office, Biden said the reforms were like the types of election laws during the Jim Crow Era. He called the new law "Jim Crow 2.0", then said that the new law amounted to voter suppression.

Predictably, Biden's yapping is just a bunch of hot air. According to this report, early voting is going through the roof in Georgia:

"The record early voting turnout is a testament to the security of the voting system and the hard work of our county election officials," Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said of the numbers Wednesday. "As Secretary of State, I promised to strike a strong balance between access and security in our elections, and these numbers demonstrate that I kept that promise and that voters have confidence in Georgia’s elections."

Georgia has seen 539,297 people cast ballots as of Tuesday, far outpacing the 182,684 by this point in the 2018 midterm primary elections, according to data compiled by Georgia Votes.
If Republicans wanted to suppress the vote, then they're failing at it. Tripling the amount of people casting early ballots from 4 years ago isn't suppression. It's the opposite of suppression. It's the opposite of Jim Crow 2.0.

Anyone who's studied elections knows that turnout is much higher in presidential elections than in midterm elections. How will Karine Jean-Pierre respond to this?
The numbers have even outpaced those posted during the 2020 presidential election by 156%, an election that saw election officials encourage early and mail-in voting to decrease crowding during the pandemic.
Democrats have a habit of exaggerating the effects of election law changes. In the majority opinion for the landmark case of Crawford v. Marion County Board of Elections, Justice Stevens wrote this:
"After discovery, District Judge Barker prepared a comprehensive 70-page opinion explaining her decision to grant defendants’ motion for summary judgment. 458 F. Supp. 2d 775 (SD Ind. 2006). She found that petitioners had 'not introduced evidence of a single, individual Indiana resident who will be unable to vote as a result of SEA 483 or who will have his or her right to vote unduly burdened by its requirements.' Id., at 783.

She rejected 'as utterly incredible and unreliable' an expert’s report that up to 989,000 registered voters in Indiana did not possess either a driver’s license or other acceptable photo identification. Id., at 803. She estimated that as of 2005, when the statute was enacted, around 43,000 Indiana residents lacked a state-issued driver’s license or identification card. Id."
It's time to stop thinking that Democrats simply made good faith mistakes. These are Democrats' outright lies in pursuit of winning a political argument. Predictably, when the Georgia election bill was passed, Biden and Stacey Abram screamed 'voter suppression' at the top of their lungs. Eventually, MLB moved the 2021 All-Star Game from Atlanta to Denver, costing Atlanta's minority-owned small business an estimated $100,000,000 in business.

During this briefing, Jen Psaki made clear that the Biden administration saw the Georgia election law as making voting more difficult, not easier:

Joe Biden isn't a relatable, nice old man. He's a liar. He always has been. This fossil hasn't just lost his fastball. He's shown the American people who he really is.
