CNN is frightened of free speech
Zurawik is quoted as saying "You need regulation. You cannot let these guys control discourse in this country or we are headed to hell. We are there. Trump opened the gates of hell and now they’re chasing us down."
While that's a stunning quote, Zurawik started by saying "There's a bigger problem here about how we're going to control the channels of communication in this country." Zurawik continued, saying "In 1927, we had the Radio Act; in 1934, we had the Communications Act. Congress stepped in. We made rules. The FCC wasn't great but it's still regulating the broadcast industry. You can't do all these things. You can't use vulgar language."
These control freaks seem frightened with the possibility of losing total control of their ability to shape their message. This isn't the Democrat Party of Bill Clinton, Daniel Patrick Moynihan or Hubert Humphrey. Today's Democrats are more like Marxists or the Chinese Communist Party.
When Nancy Pelosi was growing up in Baltimore, her father was a Democrat ward boss in charge of getting out every vote possible for the election. When she became Speaker, she brought that thinking to passing legislation. Machine politics for elections is now machine politics for policy. The thought of listening to people isn't part of the Democrats'/Marxists'/fascists' thinking. That's why they've lost the Rust Belt and the Heartland.
Check this out:
This is what Marxist Democrats look like: This type of activity is pushing people away from the Democrat Party. It's fueling this November's red wave. There is a serious problem with the news industry when it’s the people that are supposed to be protecting speech rights are the loudest voices demanding that the government take a more active role in censoring speech. https://t.co/Wu7lwDc9CP
