Justin Trudeau's authoritarian moment

Justin Trudeau is forcing Canadians and Americans to wonder what lengths our governments will go in turning themselves into authoritarian government. In Trudeau's Canada, the government is seizing people's bank accounts. Trudeau's government is even threatening to freeze crypto accounts.

That's just part of the story. Trudeau's government is acting like more like an authoritarian form of government than a democracy. This article highlights the tactics used by Trudeau's thugs:

Officers smashed the window of one truck to pull the occupant out and arrest him. Protesters who refused to move were arrested one by one before they were taken away by pairs of officers.

At a news conference Friday afternoon, Interim Ottawa police Chief Steve Bell credited the federal Emergencies Act, Ontario state of emergency and local state of emergency and injunction for providing tools to help officers deal with protesters.

"Without the authorities that have been provided to us through these pieces of legislation, we wouldn't be able to be doing the work we are today," said Bell.

These protesters were petitioning their government over the government's COVID policies that affect truckers. It's a policy that's stupid. Rather than adjust the policy to fit the situation, PM Trudeau declared an emergency against the truckers, started arresting the truckers while freezing their bank accounts. That's like using the FBI to police traffic in Minneapolis. It might accomplish the task but it's a bit much. This video is worth thousands of words:

This is happening because PM Trudeau didn't hesitate in telling Canadian citizens that their opinions didn't matter to him. Instead, PM Trudeau turned into an authoritarian. His was the only opinion that mattered to him. This video is worth a few thousand more words:

WOW! That's a breathtakingly moronic statement. Trudeau's use of the word swastikas on Jewish Canadians is thoroughly offensive, as offensive as it'd be in the U.S.

Trudeau's image is taking a major hit. It's doubtful he'll recover politically.

After Minnesota's Democrats shoved the most controversial progressive legislation down Minnesotans' throats, gossip started popping up about Gov. Walz being interested in running for president . Yesterday, Maria Bartiromo interrogated Gov. Ron DeSantis on Sunday Morning Futures. The first half of the interview, Bartiromo asked policy questions. Gov. DeSantis showed his understanding of the issues and presented his solutions on everything from China, inflation and growing the economy. The first reply he had was to cut spending. His next reply was to open energy production. Third, he talked about the importance of increasing productivity, which he correctly said is the best way to eliminate inflation.
