Gigi Sohn's difficult confirmation hearing

Gigi Sohn is one of Joe Biden's nominees to be an FCC commissioner. Saying that she had a difficult day during her confirmation hearing is understatement. Frankly, I don't see why her nomination hasn't been pulled from consideration. She's clearly biased against conservatives. This tweet alone is enough to seal Ms. Sohn's defeat: This back-and-forth got heated, too:

The tweet says "For all my concerns about #Facebook, I believe that Fox News has had the most negative impact on our democracy. It's state-sponsored propaganda, with few if any opposing viewpoints. Where's the hearing about that?" How can someone who thinks that Fox is "state-sponsored propaganda" qualify for a job regulating the TV industry? Then there's this retweet and commentary:
Sullivan also brought up how Sohn retweeted a tweet regarding former President Trump that said: "Your raggedy white supremacist president and his cowardly enablers would rather kill everybody than stop killing black people."

"I think the average American, whether you’re Republican or Democrat is tired of this," Sullivan said. "The number of Biden nominees who come out here and have tweeted about Republicans being white supremacists and racists, it seems like that’s how you get nominated in this administration. People are just tired of it."

Gigi Sohn doesn't belong in government. She belongs in an institution. Either that or at a university faculty lounge. People that biased shouldn't have the authority to regulate. Period.

After Minnesota's Democrats shoved the most controversial progressive legislation down Minnesotans' throats, gossip started popping up about Gov. Walz being interested in running for president . Yesterday, Maria Bartiromo interrogated Gov. Ron DeSantis on Sunday Morning Futures. The first half of the interview, Bartiromo asked policy questions. Gov. DeSantis showed his understanding of the issues and presented his solutions on everything from China, inflation and growing the economy. The first reply he had was to cut spending. His next reply was to open energy production. Third, he talked about the importance of increasing productivity, which he correctly said is the best way to eliminate inflation.
