Big Tech censorship hasn't stopped blue collar Freedom Convoy

Big Tech's attempt at censorship hasn't stopped the blue-collar Freedom Convoy. If anything, Big Tech's attempt at censorship has incentivized more people to support the truckers' Convoy. Now Big Tech is getting criticized for attempting to silence the protests.

GiveSendGo founder and CFO Jacob Wells has started criticizing GoFundMe and Big Tech "for their 'authoritarian style of social platforms,' which he says promote bias as fact and causes further division." In an interview with Fox News Digital, Wells said this:

"Big Tech really has taken it upon themselves to be the arbiters of truth. And it's a place that they were never intended to be, and it's caused more damage than good. We are now stepping into that place because there is a natural pushback from many people because America was founded on these ideas of freedom."
Part of what I call the American DNA is infused with liberty. In fact, that's how God created every person.

The First Amendment just codified what already existed. The right to think what you want and to say what you think existed before governments existed. That's called Natural Law. Government can't take it away because it existed before government.

Natan Scharansky perfectly embodied that spirit. While imprisoned in the Soviets' gulags, Scharansky refused to give in. During Reagan's time in office, these Jewish dissidents would hear broadcasts from Radio Free Europe. The guards guarding these Jewish dissidents couldn't listen. In his book The Case for Democracy: The Power of Freedom to Overcome Tyranny and Terror, Scharansky wrote that, in many instances, the Jewish dissidents were freer than their guards. But I digress.

"This is like the tip of the spear and what is coming in a tsunami of technology that is pushing back against this authoritarian style of social platforms where it's like these people just think that they get to control the narrative," he said. "It’s mind-blowing to me that they actually think that is the way that it ought to be, because in my perspective, it only breeds more distrust and more vitriol, more divide."

GiveSendGo, which launched in 2014, permitted donations for Kyle Rittenhouse’s defense. The fundraiser allowed him to post $2 million bail after GoFundMe had blocked donations. GoFundMe lifted its ban on fundraisers for Rittenhouse following the teenager’s acquittal in November.

GoFundMe will suffer financially for their duplicity. They're fine with crowdfunding the CHOP parasites but they didn't hesitate in freezing funding for the Freedom Convoy. GoFundMe didn't permit funding for Kyle Rittenhouse until after he'd been acquitted. There's only one conclusion to draw. GoFundMe is into putting its thumb on the scales of justice.

It's time for the current COVID policies to stop. Any politician who thinks that these truckers don't vote is kidding themselves. Those naive politicians can start writing their concession speeches immediately.
