Democrats, January 6th and real treachery

Last week, Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris put on a show to tell the American people that our democracy hung by a single, tattered thread on January 6. We were told that we were oh-so-close to losing our beloved democracy. That's a steaming pile of BS.

That isn't to say that what happened on Jan. 6th was one of our nation's finest moments. It wasn't that. It's just that the people entering the Capitol didn't pose a risk to the federal government. If the trespassers had succeeded in occupying the Speaker's office, would Merrick Garland's DOJ have stopped harrassing parents in Loudoun County?

I wrote here about a whistleblower who stepped forward to tell House Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Jim Jordan that the FBI had sent out an email on Oct. 20. This email allegedly was sent on behalf of "Assistant Director of the Counterterrorism Division and the Assistant Director of the Criminal Division."

This is the so-called Threat Tag email, which was created by the FBI in connection with "investigations and assessments of threats against school board administrators, board members, teachers, and staff."

Based on the comparison between whistleblower's letter and Mr. Garland's testimony, it isn't difficult to think that the FBI was being used to intimidate parents of students who simply wanted a good education for their children. Let's remember that the initial investigations into "threats against school board administrators, board members, teachers, and staff" would be made by local law enforcement. What proof do we have that local law enforcement had initiated any investigations against parents who had threatened school board members or teachers? Isn't using the FBI's Counterterrorism Division against parents a greater threat against our Republic than a bunch of rowdy but ill-prepared activists?

The FBI put together a system to investigate parents that apparently was run by the Democrats' FBI Counterterrorism Division. If that doesn't sound like intimidation, what does?

Tim Walz's Confederate Flag Fiasco

After Minnesota's Democrats shoved the most controversial progressive legislation down Minnesotans' throats, gossip started popping up about Gov. Walz being interested in running for president . That's died off but Gov. Walz is still making headlines, this time for all the wrong reasons. First, Gov. Walz isn't the brightest bulb in the chandelier. Still, Gov. Maria Bartiromo's interrogation of Gov. Ron DeSantis

Yesterday, Maria Bartiromo interrogated Gov. Ron DeSantis on Sunday Morning Futures. The first half of the interview, Bartiromo asked policy questions. Gov. DeSantis showed his understanding of the issues and presented his solutions on everything from China, inflation and growing the economy. The first reply he had was to cut spending. His next reply was to open energy production. Third, he talked about the importance of increasing productivity, which he correctly said is the best way to eliminate inflation.
