Alejandro Mayorkas vs. U.S. Border Patrol

Julio Rosas said that Alejandro Mayorkas' meeting with U.S. Border Patrol agents "from the Yuma Sector" "didn't go well." Based on the content of Rosas' article, I'd call that understatement. The content of Rosas' article is based largely on "an audio recording of [Secretary Mayorkas'] remarks to the agents, which was obtained by Townhall.

In the recording, Secretary Mayorkas said "The job has not gotten any easier over the last few months and it was very, very difficult throughout 2021. I know apprehending families and kids is not what you signed up to do. And now we got a composition that is changing even more with Cubans, Venezuelans, Nicaraguans, and the like, it just gets more difficult." The meeting got intense after that.

At one point, an "agent pressed Mayorkas on how DHS can reconcile saying border security is the main mission for Border Patrol, yet agents are unable to patrol the border due to the policies the Biden administration has in place. Border Patrol agents are being utilized to process the thousands of illegal immigrants."

"Mayorkas said he appreciated 'the candor' and explained he is working to ensure agents have the personnel, funding, and equipment they need to do their job. The agent replied they have been hearing that answer for years."

This alone should be grounds for Mayorkas' impeachment. Most importantly, Mayorkas isn't enforcing existing laws. At best, he's selectively enforcing this nation's immigration laws. Bill Melugin has the video on that:

Next, Mayorkas lied directly to these Border Patrol agents when he said that he's "working to ensure agents have the personnel, funding, and equipment they need to do their job." This year's DHS budget doesn't contain an increase in funding. Mayorkas knows this because he put the budget together. Then things got heated:
According to sources present at the meeting and the audio recording, the agent who asked the question then turned his back on Mayorkas. "Let me just say, you can turn your back on me but I'll never turn my back on you," Mayorkas said. The agent replied Mayorkas turned his back on the agents first.
The BP agents know that Mayorkas doesn't have their backs any more than Bill de Blasio had NYPD officers' backs. This has to sting:
One exasperated agent told Mayorkas the situation in the Yuma Sector was much better under former President Donald Trump because "everyone was doing their jobs."
The Biden border policy isn't accidental. It's intentional. It's time that citizens and especially Republican candidates for office to highlight this.

We know it's intentional because of this article:

Leaked video shows migrants being transported on secret charter flights under the cover of night from southern border states to Westchester, New York. "The government is betraying the American people," a federal contractor told a Westchester County police officer in a conversation recorded on the officer’s body camera on the tarmac of a Westchester airport on Aug. 13, 2021. The footage was obtained via a Freedom of Information Act request by former Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino. Reports first surfaced of such flights back in October when the New York Post captured video of the scene at the airport in White Plains, New York.
I repeat. This isn't accidental. It's intentional and it's got to stop. In fact, it's got to be reversed ASAP.
