Rittenhouse jury their verdict, Part I

This afternoon, the jury in the Rittenhouse trial delivered their verdict in the trial. Predictably and correctly, the Rittenhouse jury acquitted Mr. Rittenhouse on all 5 counts against him. Rittenhouse pleaded not guilty on the basis of self defense.

In summation, Judge Bruce Schroeder said "I couldn't have asked for a better jury to work with and it has truly been my pleasure. I think, without commenting on your verdict, the verdicts themselves, just in terms of your attentiveness and the cooperation that you gave to us, justifies the confidence that the founders of our country placed in you so I dismiss you at this time."

Meanwhile, Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney, the chairman of the DCCC, aka the Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee, issued this statement, saying "It’s disgusting and disturbing that someone was able to carry a loaded assault rifle into a protest against the unjust killing of Jacob Blake, an unarmed Black man, and take the lives of two people and injure another - and face absolutely no consequences." Add Rep. Maloney to the list of people that Mr. Rittenhouse should sue for defamation. In his statement, Rep. Maloney said the riots (let's call them what they are), not mostly peaceful protests, were about "the unjust killing of Jacob Blake, an unarmed Black man." First, Jacob Blake isn't dead. If he was, this interview would require a seance:

As the jury deliberates a verdict in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial, Jacob Blake is providing an update on his health. He was shot seven times in August 2020 by Kenosha police Officer Rusten Sheskey. The shooting left him paralyzed from the waist down.
Next, Blake wasn't unarmed:
In declining to bring criminal charges, Kenosha County District Attorney Michael Graveley found that Sheskey was acting in self-defense because Blake was armed with a knife and he had resisted arrest despite multiple Taser shots.
When the final verdict was read, Mr. Rittenhouse reacted emotionally:

What racist statement will Cori Bush make? Check it out: What evidence does Cori Bush have that Mr. Rittenhouse is a white supremacist? If all she's got is a handful of Twitter rumors, then I'd suggest that Ms. Bush find a good attorney to represent her in a potential defamation lawsuit. Nothing in the public record links Mr. Rittenhouse with militias or white supremacist organizations.
