Joe Biden's international homeless shelter in Del Rio, TX

On Tuesday night, an estimated 700-1,100 illegal immigrants sheltered unde the international bridge in Del Rio, TX. As of Saturday night, there are an estimated 15,000 illegal immigrants sheltering under that bridge.

FNC's Bill Melugin has reported daily from Del Rio, TX since March. He's seen it all since he started his coverage this winter. These days, Melugin's reporting has proven that Joe Biden wants open borders. Illegal aliens travel back-and-forth across the Rio Grande "without resistance from either side." Del Rio is on the US side. Ciudad Acuña is on the Mexican side.

Because the Border Patrol is totally overwhelmed, these illegal aliens cross the dam multiple times daily. Others hang out in what's best described as an international homeless shelter under the internationl bridge in Del Rio. This is what the homeless encampment looked like on Thursday:

Republican Rep. August Pfluger visited the homeless shelter Saturday. He reported that "It’s worse than you could imagine." Pfluger added that the population "has spiked from 4,000 on Wednesday to now what Pfluger said was 14,878 as of Saturday afternoon." The CBP shut down the Del Rio port of entry today:The first thing on the Republicans' agenda when they gavel in next week should be to submit articles of impeachment against DHS Secretary Mayorkas. He isn't doing his job. In fact, he's lied about the conditions on the ground multiple times.

In August, CBP recorded 208,887 encounters. That's down from 212,627 in July. We're 19 days into September and it's obvious that we'll outdistance August's numbers. There's a decent shot that we'll surpass July's encounters.

The question we need to ask is whether we'll put up with this catastrophe. Actually, it's catastrophes. There's the homeless catastrophe and the COVID catastrophe. KATV reports "At least 87 Border Patrol agents from just two sectors in Texas testing positive, 27% of unaccompanied children deported also tested positive." There's more news from the border:

That's a clever trick but it won't work. The administration couldn't get away with grounding Fox News's drone that showed the huge and growing international homeless shelter because Bill Melugin outsmarted them. Now, the administration is flying Haitians back to Haiti to make it look like things are improving, which isn't happening. This is visual spin. This isn't structural improvement.

Yesterday, Maria Bartiromo interrogated Gov. Ron DeSantis on Sunday Morning Futures. The first half of the interview, Bartiromo asked policy questions. Gov.
