Alejandro Mayorkas, Jen Psaki = the new Mr. & Mrs. Baghdad Bob
"Fox News [White House] correspondent Peter Doocy" asked Psaki "why there was a different standard for foreign nationals traveling to the United States and illegal immigrants crossing the southern border into the United States."
Psaki replied "As individuals come across the border, they are both assessed for whether they have any symptoms, if they have symptoms, the intention is for them to have to be quarantined. That is our process." Psaki added that the situations weren't the same, saying "They are not intending to stay here for a lengthy period of time," she said. "I don’t think it’s the same thing. It is not the same thing."
Right. They're just camping in blistering heat underneath a bridge in squalid conditions on their way to Vancouver, BC. Jen Psaki isn't a person of integrity. This video is proof of that:
During her explanation, Psaki said that there's a process in place. That's a lie. There weren't DHS employees in Del Rio. That's why Haitians were free to cross from Texas to Mexico multiple times during the weekend. That isn't a process. That's people doing whatever they want to do whenever they want to do it.According to NBC's reporting, 3,300 Haitians have been "removed." Of that 3,300, a whopping total of 317 have been returned to Haiti. That's a whopping 9.6% of Haitians have been removed. The other 90% of Haitians in Del Rio, TX will be relocated to somewhere in the United States. Yes, that means that Jen Psaki is lying about these Haitians aren't "intending to stay here for a lengthy period of time."Despite that, DHS Secretary Mayorkas insists that the border isn't open. Secretary Mayorkas should be fired immediately for willfully not enforcing the laws of the United States and his lying to hide his lawlessness.
Baghdad Bob had nothing on Secretary Mayorkas and Jen Psaki. Psaki telling the White House correspondents that there's a process in place in Del Rio is an outright lie. There wasn't a process in place because there weren't any Border Patrol there. It's impossible to have a process when there's no one to implement the policies.
What's especially upsetting is Psaki and Mayorkas virtually guaranteeing the punishment of Border Patrol agents on horseback trying to stop Haitians who've lived the last 10 years in Brazil, Chile and Columbia from illegally entering Texas. (More on that in another post.)
