Joe Biden's interview from hell

When Joe Biden sat down for his interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos, Biden thought he'd get softball question after softball question. Instead, he got peppered with legitimate, hard-hitting question. By the time it was done, Biden had made more news.

During the interview, Biden announced that American troops would stay in Afghanistan until every American was brought home. He also said that he didn't know how this chaotic finish could've been avoided. That's a jaw-dropping statement.

All Biden had to do was keep some troops in Afghanistan until the diplomats, foreign nationals and US assets had been removed from Aghanistan. Instead, he got the military out first, then shut down Bagram in the middle of the night without warning.

 

Joe Biden also told Stephanopoulos that " I don’t think it could’ve been handled in a way that. We’re going to go back in hindsight and look but the idea that somehow there was a way to have gotten out without chaos ensuing, I don’t know how that happens." I think that's an honest answer -- for Joe Biden. I think he isn't smart enough to figure out a way of getting our troops and allies out of Afghanistan without this chaos.

Thanks to Big Tech and the MSM, Joe Biden won the election. If the MSM had done its job of reporting, Donald Trump would be serving his second term right now. Instead, we're stuck with the worst president of my lifetime for the next 3+ years.

What's worse than the interview is the Biden administration's national security team's collapse. Austin, Blinken, Milley and Sullivan should all be fired. Thousands of Americans were left behind initially. Then they were told they'd have to pay $2,000 per flight to get out of Afghanistan. Foreign nationals were left behind. Ditto with Afghan translators who helped US troops.

The Biden administration apparently didn't care until this turned into the clusterf**k for the ages. The frightening thought is that Biden was the best that the Democrats had to offer in 2020.

Yesterday, Maria Bartiromo interrogated Gov. Ron DeSantis on Sunday Morning Futures. The first half of the interview, Bartiromo asked policy questions. Gov. DeSantis showed his understanding of the issues and presented his solutions on everything from China, inflation and growing the economy. The first reply he had was to cut spending. His next reply was to open energy production. Third, he talked about the importance of increasing productivity, which he correctly said is the best way to eliminate inflation.
