Joe Biden, Facebook working together on who gets to speak

It should frighten people that the Biden administration is working with Facebook on which Facebook posts should be flagged as "misinformation." On Thursday, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said "We are in regular touch with the social media platforms and those engagements typically happen through members of our senior staff and also members of our COVID-19 team — given, as Dr. Murthy conveyed, this is a big issue, of misinformation, specifically on the pandemic."

Psaki then said "Within the Surgeon General's Office, we're flagging posts for Facebook that spread disinformation. We're working with doctors and medical professionals to connect medical experts with people, who are popular with their audiences with accurate information and boost trusted content. So, we're helping get trusted content out there. We also created the COVID Community Corps to get factual information into the hands of local messengers."

Virtually immediately, that set off red flags. Katie Pavlich tweeted this:

Psaki says the White House has been flagging "problematic posts" on Facebook they believe are misinformation about Wuhan coronavirus. Reminder: Fauci worked with Facebook to ban the lab leak theory, which is factual, for more than a year.

Bryan Dean Wright said this during his interview with Lawrence Jones:

I think that what we are watching is the slow croach from freedom to tyranny. You see, one of the things that I know from my career and all of the intel analysts that I worked with is when a country is moving from freedom to tyranny, one of the things that we look for is a government taking control of the media, and, specifically, the speech. Namely, who can say something, what they can say and if, in fact, they cleared that with government sources.

So, what is concerning here isn't just about media bias, we have the media government telling a private industry who can speak based on what they define to be the truth. That's incredibly alarming, because then the secondary piece is the folks that speak against what the government has determined to be true are going to be silenced or de-platformed, right?

So, that's what I'm concerned about. I think most reasonable Americans are concerned about this. And I think it's time for anyone who understands this, whether you be a conservative who is targeted or a free-thinking critical person should stand up and say, enough, this is wrong.

This isn't who we are. That's the type of thing that happens when democracies lapse into tyrannies. Check this out: Near the end of the video, Wright said that "Joseph Biden is moving from an administration to a regime." Let's return to what Psaki said. She said that the administration is "in regular touch with the social media platforms" and that "those engagements typically happen through members of our senior staff and also members of our COVID-19 team."

Let's remember that the people approving what's misinformation and what's truth are the people who brought us this:

This is the administration that called Gov. Abbott a neanderthal for opening up the state of Texas and removing all mask requirements. Biden hinted that COVID cases would spike after that. They didn't. That's who wants to determine what truth is and what's misinformation? Give me a break.
