DFL Rep. John Thompson, deadbeat dad

Apparently, DFL Rep. John Thompson is a deadbeat dad in addition to being a scofflaw. Rep. Thompson has a colorful history, to put it politely. Last summer, Thompson led a BLM rally in Hugo, MN, against the police union's president. During the BLM rally, Thompson let fly with a lengthy, profanity-laced diatribe:

A DFL-endorsed candidate for the Minnesota House of Representatives issued an apology this week, after video surfaced of his conduct at a protest outside police union president Bob Kroll’s house on Saturday in the suburb of Hugo.

Knowing that, it isn't surprising that there's more to the Thompson story than that. Here's more:

Rep. John Thompson, DFL-St. Paul, was pulled over by St. Paul Police near Seventh Street East and Wacouta Street at 1:18 a.m. Sunday for not having a front license plate, police said. 
Thompson has been an outspoken advocate for changing state law to prohibit so-called "pre-textual" traffic stops for things like expired tabs. Thompson and other supporters of such a change say the minor infractions are often used to racially profile Black drivers. 
St. Paul Police say Thompson told the officer he was a Minnesota state representative and claimed he was being racially profiled. When asked for his driver's license, Thompson gave the officer a Wisconsin driver's license. Police said officers then learned Thompson's Minnesota driving privileges were suspended in 2019 for failing to pay child support.

Thus far, Thompson has been endorsed by DFL Gov. Tim Walz, failed to pay child support and led a profanity-laced diatribe against the police union president. That's the personification of an out-of-control racist/activist. The metro DFL  has a history of picking candidates who are activists first, citizens far down the list of priorities. Character isn't the DFL's priority.

Between Ilhan Omar, Keith Ellison and Thompson, the DFL has identified and recruited one scofflaw after another. If you can't trust these DFL politicians, why vote for them? These DFL politicians are just a scandal waiting to happen.

Tim Walz's Confederate Flag Fiasco

After Minnesota's Democrats shoved the most controversial progressive legislation down Minnesotans' throats, gossip started popping up about Gov. Walz being interested in running for president . Yesterday, Maria Bartiromo interrogated Gov. Ron DeSantis on Sunday Morning Futures. The first half of the interview, Bartiromo asked policy questions. Gov. DeSantis showed his understanding of the issues and presented his solutions on everything from China, inflation and growing the economy. The first reply he had was to cut spending. His next reply was to open energy production. Third, he talked about the importance of increasing productivity, which he correctly said is the best way to eliminate inflation.
