Cuba's demonstration & the Declaration of Independence

The Cuban people's uprising is inspiring in light of our recent celebration of our nation's birthday, our Declaration of Independence. Unfortunately, Joe Biden falls exceptionally short of the mark expected of American leadership. Forget about his administration falling short of this nation's Founding Fathers. I'd be thrilled with him living up to mediocre US leadership.

Unfortunately for Cuba, Joe Biden is as weak as Barack Obama and Jimmy Carter. Obama was famous for drawing red lines, then "leading from behind" when Syria crossed his red lines. Jimmy Carter's fame came from him calling Ayatollah Khomeini "a great man of religion." Carter called him that after Islamic terrorists stormed the US Embassy in Tehran, Iran. The 52 hostages didn't leave until Ronald Reagan was sworn in as the 40th president of the United States.

This is Joe Biden's pathetic initial statement on Cuba's uprising:

We stand with the Cuban people and their clarion call for freedom and relief from the tragic grip of the pandemic and from the decades of repression and economic suffering to which they have been subjected by Cuba’s authoritarian regime. The Cuban people are bravely asserting fundamental and universal rights. Those rights, including the right of peaceful protest and the right to freely determine their own future, must be respected. The United States calls on the Cuban regime to hear their people and serve their needs at this vital moment rather than enriching themselves.
Sen. Ted Cruz, (R-TX), whose parents fled Cuba before he was born, scolded Mr. Biden on the Senate Floor. Here's what he said:

Joe Biden doesn't see Cuba as a communist outpost 90 miles from Florida. Biden sees it as another nation. I'm not certain that he's worried that the prior Castro regime was a murderous dictatorship. If Biden cared about the Declaration, his reaction to Cuba would've been swift, forceful and unequivocal in support for the Declaration.

Lots of Joe Biden's Democrats (the politicians) are socialists/Marxists. They're also apologists for the US constitutional republic.
