Kamala Harris visits Texas, then California

The MSM is apparently satisfied that VP Harris visited the US-Mexico border despite never visiting the US-Mexico border. She stopped at the airport, then met with some pro-open borders NGOs. Then she flew to California for the weekend.

It's instructive what VP Harris didn't do in Texas. Let's compare her photo-op with President Trump's typical border visit. When he'd visit, President Trump always held a 2-hr. meeting with border patrol agents, local sheriffs, mayors, ranchers and senators. He'd spend his time listening to what law enforcement needed.

By comparison, VP Harris, Secretary Mayorkas and Rep. Escobar engaged in happy talk about improving conditions at Fort Bliss, how El Paso is the "new Ellis Island" and how this administration inherited a broken immigration system.

Mayorkas didn't explain how it was possible to see "tremendous progress" while HHS people confiscated metal objects and ID badges, then put teenagers were put on suicide watch. That's the definition of happy talk.

Yesterday on The Big Saturday Show, Griff Jenkins reported that he'll be spending the next week in the RGV. He invited VP Harris to join him. He promised to give her a personal tour of the border. Obviously, that won't happen. The last thing Harris wants to do is find out what's happening on the border. Here's another option:

That won't happen, either. If she actually met with front-line workers, she'd find out that they love the wall. She'd also find out that the Biden administration created this crisis. The Biden administration can't let those tidbits of information get out. They'd destroy the Democrats' and the MSM's narrative. If that ever collapsed, they'd have to admit that Trump was right. Democrats would do anything to avoid that.

After her brief stop in Texas, she flew off for a weekend in California. Meanwhile. Secretary Mayorkas and Sen. Durbin flew back to DC.
