Where's Joe Biden & Kamala Harris?

On November 1, 2020, the US-Mexico border was under control. On April 9, 2021, Roberta Jacobson, Joe Biden's border czar, announced that she was quitting effective at the end of April. Jacobson said that the US immigration system "is humane, orderly and safe." Michael Goodwin's response wasn't a positive review of the situation. He wrote "Only a committed virtue signaler could call it 'humane, orderly and safe' when coyotes and sex traffickers brought nearly 30,000 unaccompanied minors to the border in just February and March. Caring for them is costing taxpayers $60 million a week. Although the White House has kept the media in the dark, little snippets of the harsh reality reveal the daily depravity." While the federal government isn't letting reporters talk with people who manage the facilities, little snippets of information are escaping from Texas, which is getting swamped. Border patrol is beyond swamped. Leadership from the administration is nonexistent. Roberta Jacobson is leaving the situation in a terrible mess. Kamala Harris is MIA after being assigned to work on root causes, whatever that means. Joe Biden has drifted along like he's in la-la-land since the inauguration. Alejandro Mayorkas, in his best moments, is incoherent and dishonest in his worst.
Biden tapped Vice President Kamala Harris to work with Mexico and the Northern Triangle countries to stem the tide, but Harris has disappeared. She is keeping her distance from the problem and the media, a sign she doesn’t see any solutions and doesn’t want to be responsible for the failure.
Harris is wise to keep her distance from this no-win situation. PS- Harris disappeared at the sight of a crisis. Compare that with what Mike Pence did when appointed by President Trump to lead the COVID task force. That's quite the contrast.

After Minnesota's Democrats shoved the most controversial progressive legislation down Minnesotans' throats, gossip started popping up about Gov. Walz being interested in running for president . Yesterday, Maria Bartiromo interrogated Gov. Ron DeSantis on Sunday Morning Futures. The first half of the interview, Bartiromo asked policy questions. Gov. DeSantis showed his understanding of the issues and presented his solutions on everything from China, inflation and growing the economy. The first reply he had was to cut spending. His next reply was to open energy production. Third, he talked about the importance of increasing productivity, which he correctly said is the best way to eliminate inflation.
