Today, Major League Baseball (MLB) died

I attended my first Twins game on Sunday, Sept. 10, 1966. The Twins won that day by an 11-6 score. I've been a Twins fan since then. Today, MLB (along with the Minnesota Twins) died because MLB sided with the woke mob. MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred announced that "Over the last week, we have engaged in thoughtful conversations with Clubs, former and current players, the Players Association, and The Players Alliance, among others, to listen to their views. I have decided that the best way to demonstrate our values as a sport is by relocating this year's All-Star Game and MLB Draft." MLB just made a trio of huge mistakes. MLB's first major mistake is that it's obvious that they didn't read the bill. MLB's next major mistake is that they didn't talk to the fans. MLB's third major mistake was consulting with the organization titled Civic Alliance. Here's what Civic Alliance said about themselves:
Civic Alliance recognizes that a strong democracy is good for business. By encouraging all Americans to flex our civic muscles, we also recognize that an engaged business community strengthens our democracy. Our ambitious goal is 80 percent voter turnout. We may have a long way to go, but by working together, we will create a culture where civics matter and participation is a habit.
Manfred's statement continued, saying:
"Major League Baseball fundamentally supports voting rights for all Americans and opposes restrictions to the ballot box. In 2020, MLB became the first professional sports league to join the non-partisan Civic Alliance to help build a future in which everyone participates in shaping the United States. We proudly used our platform to encourage baseball fans and communities throughout our country to perform their civic duty and actively participate in the voting process. Fair access to voting continues to have our game's unwavering support."
That's massaging the truth on steroids. Civic Alliance isn't non-partisan. It's a left-wing organization. Check this out:
We believe every American should have a voice in our democracy and that voting should be safe and accessible to all voters. We stand in solidarity with voters 一 and with the Black executives and leaders at the helm of this movement 一 in our nonpartisan commitment to equality and democracy. If our government is going to work for all of us, each of us must have equal freedom to vote and elections must reflect the will of voters. Our elections are not improved when lawmakers impose barriers that result in longer lines at the polls or that reduce access to secure ballot dropboxes. There are hundreds of bills threatening to make voting more difficult in dozens of states nationwide. We call on elected leaders in every state capitol and in Congress to work across the aisle and ensure that every eligible American has the freedom to easily cast their ballot and participate fully in our democracy.
That's rubbish. There aren't any states that are considering bills that threaten "to make voting more difficult in dozens of states nationwide." That's propaganda straight from the DNC. I've watched my last Twins game. MLB is dead to me because they caved to the 'Woke Mob' and the DNC. They can kiss my ...
