How White Are You?

How White Are You? By Ramblin’ Rose Wow! I did not realize how much we are to hate ourselves! Political rhetoric seemed to be coming from campaigns, especially those arrows from the left-wing pundits and directed at President Trump and the Trumpsters. But this deep-seated hatred has been festering for a long time. Recently, I found that this vile hatred pre-dates, by decades, even President’s Trump announcement in 2015 to seek the White House, at least as expressed by Barnor Hesse. Barnor Hesse, associate professor of African American Studies, Political Science, and Sociology at Northwestern University, was publishing in the 20th century about whites' hatred for other races when he was really revealing his own abhorrence of whites, especially in South Africa, northern Europe and the United States. The following chart is even being used in schools to help students “work to becoming white abolitionists.”
Apparently this is supported and shared by the Slow Factory Foundation that identifies itself like this: "We are a 501c3 public service organization working at the intersection of Climate & Culture; building anti-racist community and growing climate-positive global movements." [Aside: It is impossible to find concrete, in-depth information about this alleged book, the author, or the organization. This adds to my skepticism about the reliability and validity of their claims. However, this chart is readily availabe on multiple internet sites.] This type of hatred fills media, our culture, and our institutions, so verification of this particular piece seems non-essential in sharing their claims. A radical feminist (self-identified), Gillian Schutte, wrote in 2013 that this graphic and explanation is "…ground-breaking work around whiteness studies from a radical black perspective." Please examine this chart of explanations and rate yourself…at least that is the directive from those advocating the "radical black perspective." Only if we identify with the 8th statement should we be allowed to participate in society…at least that seems to be their claim. We are being taught to hate ourselves…and it will be accomplished as states adopt new academic standards across the curriculum. Although states have changed the name, probably due to public outcry, the foundation for standards is Common Core (claiming that the curriculum will be determined by local schools—[hogwash—personal comment based upon research of those standards and the requisite exams for graduation and entrance into postsecondary institutions]).
As a Christian, I believe that God does not make mistakes. I have found no references to different races in the Bible, nor have my conversation with members of the clergy provided any insights. Many hypothesize that with the dispersing of peoples following their failed construction of the Tower of Babel different races could have also been a mark of that separation of humans. I did not know if I should laugh or cry as I found a post from a 'Facebook friend.' "White supremacists use the Bible to justify their racism. The problem is that there are no white people in the Bible." I have never heard anyone of any race claim that there are white people in the Bible—as noted above, the Bible does not address the topic of races. I have heard/read from many people of all races to love one another as God has directed/commanded us to do in the Bible. We are all are children of God. Amen.
