Lisa Demuth's brash statement
That'd be quite the trick. Stopping rampant fraud statewide on DAY ONE isn't possible. Speaker Demuth knows it. She just wants to sound tough. I don't want a governore who sounds tough. I want a governor who is solutions-oriented and who knows he doesn't have to sound tough.
I want a governor who's already absorbed the shots of legislative battle -- and won! As a St. Cloud City Councilman, Jeff Johnson took on CAIR-MN, Lutheran Social Services, aka LSS, the entire St. Cloud City Council, Mayor Kleis and the Stearns County Commissioners to find out what the federal government planned on doing with regard to primary refugee resettlement. It took time but he eventually won. Jeff's already learned what Speaker Demuth apparently still needs to learn.
As a result of Jeff's persistence, he eventually won the fight. He got invited to the planning meetings for refugee resettlement. Jeff had a say in what happened. Can Speaker Demuth say that she's had a say in the rampant fraud running free throughout Minnesota? BTW, after winning the fight on primry refugee resettlement, Jeff Johnson was invited by the Center for Immmigration Studies in Washington, DC, to particcippate in a roundtable discussion. Here's Jeff's presentation before the Q and A session:
THAT'S what accountability looks like.
